Students Get Awarded at Mun Wuhan
At the end of May a group of five ECLC-students took part in the Second Model United Nations Conference (MUN) at Wuhan University, winning ‘Best Position Paper Award’ and three ‘Best Delegate Awards’, as well as the ‘Honorable Delegation Award’ as representatives of Peking University. Our students represented the USA in the UN-environmental programme, and in addition Libya and China in the General Assembly. Topics discussed were responsibility and compensation after nuclear accidents, and post-war recovery and responsibility.
